Honestly some really good and rich espresso. They have milk alternatives and free wifi. I paid with credit card. 2nd floor has a nice view of the philosophers path and it's a great place to take a break.

What a quaint little lunch cafe. They have a variety of pizza, which comes with a side of salad. All the pizzas are fresh baked in their own stone hearth. Absolutely delicious. Everything here is made with care - even the lemonade soda had a touch of cardamom to give it a little kick. Recently opened, the interior is modern and beautifully designed. The best part is how dog friendly they are. The owner's dog even has a special bed at the counter behind a glass door so he can see out. They love dogs here and it shows. Also, besides fresh brewed coffee, they have a surprisingly wide array of drinks, including 12-year Yamazaki Japanese whiskey. This is worth a stop if you're in the area, even if you don't have a dog. If you do, this is a place that will easily become your weekly favorite. Staff is friendly and attentive. This place is a great find.

Visited on a slow Thursday morning in Kyoto halfway through the Philosopher's Path trek. I highly recommend a quick coffee/tea break here. It will add onto the experience. Be sure to sit at the upper floor of this quaint little cafe to be able to appreciate more of Kyoto's greenery.

We ordered two iced café lattes, they were delicious! We really enjoyed them. The staff was super nice, and the view from the second floor was beautiful. A perfect rest stop along the Philosopher’s Path.

A great stop asking the philosophers path. They make fresh pizza too. The codes are decent but overall it's a good pit stop asking your walk to rest and relax.

This is a lovely, cozy place off the Philosopher’s Path. Service was quick and the girls working there were friendly. This is a cozy place, specially seating on the bar seat in front of the window. I ordered a lemonade and prosciutto pizza, both were delicious. The pizza didn’t have a lot of cheese, but I didn’t really miss it. The sauce was delicious, not too acid or too sweet.
